Getting Organized for the Next Level

Where did Summer go? I had all these plans for piano of things to accomplish during the break from Grade 4 to Grade 5 classes. I did get some things done, but now we're almost into September!

• I have not revisited Grade 4 material that was skipped over, but I am working on the Grade 3 Sonatina - Sonatina in C Clementi Op 36 No 1 in private lessons!

• I got through Days 1-15 of 30 Days of Piano!

• I am preparing to take a Grade 3 Exam and have one piece (of 3) learned.

• I took a Left Hand Bootcamp course and noticed a difference in my left hand, being more coordinated and musical.

• I composed another piece in a workshop on Preludes! Am working on practicing it now and will record it soon.

• I revisited a Sight Reading course and have noticed improvement and ease in recognizing patterns, chords, and rhythms in pieces has improved as well.
